Rowland Hall-St. Mark's School or RHSM is an independent private school for preschool through grade 12 located in Salt Lake City, Utah. The independent school includes four divisions -- Beginning School, Lower School, Middle School, and Upper School.
The RHSM Beginning School (2 PreK through Kindergarten) and RHSM Lower School (first grade through fifth grade) are located on the McCarthey Campus at 720 Guardsman Way, Salt Lake City, Utah 84108.
The RHSM Middle School (sixth grade through eighth grade), 970 East 800 South, Salt Lake City, Utah, 84102, and RHSM Upper School (ninth grade through twelfth grade), 843 Lincoln Street, Salt Lake City, Utah, are currently located on the Lincoln Street Campus.
RHSM hopes to build a facility for its sixth through twelfth graders on the 13.2 acres of land west of the school's McCarthey Campus (Guardsman Way). Final approval for the rezoning of this land requires RHSM to submit a footprint of the proposed facility to the city planning department. To that end, RHSM hired EHDD Architecture to design the future facility. The school's Mt. Olivet Committee is pursuing the final step before RHSM can purchase the land -- removal of a federal reversionary clause.
This is intended as a forum to discuss possibilities for the building project of the Middle School and Upper School portion of the RHSM campus in Salt Lake City, Utah.

RHSM's building project is so exciting. I hope our community members will use this blog to give the architects and the school ideas about building a comfortable, livable, sustainable, educationally exciting school.
